Trump Told Christie He Didn’t Think He’d Last Past October 2015:

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s February endorsement of Donald Trump shocked observers as the first sign of capitulation from the Republican establishment to the man who would eventually become their nominee — and then their president.

It could’ve easily been the other way around.
That’s one revelation in “Unprecedented: The Election that Changed Everything,” CNN’s upcoming book on the 2016 race that comes out December 6.

“Trump told Christie in 2015 that he didn’t expect to make it past October—at which point he would endorse Christie, according to a Christie adviser who asked not to be named in order to speak about behind-the-scenes maneuvers,” according to the book, written by CNN’s Thomas Lake with reporting from Jodi Enda, Susan Baer and CNN’s political team.

Researchers at UCLA's Brain Mapping Center found that when teenagers' photos get lots of "likes" on social media apps, such as Instagram, their brains respond in a similar way to seeing loved ones or winning money.

This Might Be Why Depression Is Rising Among Teen Girls:

"Hogan's Heroes" actor Bob Crane was found bludgeoned to death in his apartment on June 29, 1978, at the age of 49. Even after the case was reopened in 1990, Crane's murder has still not been solved.

Has ‘Hogan’s Heroes’ Star Bob Crane’s Murder Been Solved?:

The death of “Hogan’s Heroes” star Bob Crane has been one of Hollywood’s biggest unsolved mysteries for almost 40 years.

Now a reporter may have cracked the case.
Phoenix Fox 10 anchor John Hook has re-investigated the case and on Monday night will reveal his findings on air.
Crane, who played the beloved Col. Hogan in the series, was found bludgeoned to death in his Scottsdale, Arizona, apartment in 1978.
The case captured headlines as it came along with revelations regarding Crane and his sex life, which included videotaping and photographing his sexual encounters with women.
His friend John Henry Carpenter was pegged early on as a person of interest and in 1994 he was put on trial for the murder after the case was reopened.
Arwa Damon and Brice Laine traveled to Mosul inside this armored MRAP with the Salahuddin regiment.

Rescuing Arwa and Brice: The Toughest 24 Hours Of My Life:

“When was the last time you heard from Arwa or Brice?” I asked.

It was about 2 p.m. on the first Friday in November, and I was on the outskirts of the Iraqi city of Mosul, calling our senior producer back in Irbil to see if our team reporting from the front lines of the Battle for Mosul had checked in.
Hours earlier, I’d said goodbye to my colleagues and friends, CNN senior international correspondent Arwa Damon and photojournalist Brice Laine, as they climbed into an armored vehicle with Iraqi special forces. I’d grabbed both of them before they left.

Chappelle Is Right: Trump Needs To Earn Our Support:

“Saturday Night Live” kicked off its first show after Donald Trump was elected president with the perfect host: Dave Chappelle. As both African-American and Muslim, Chappelle stands at the intersection of two discriminated against minority groups. If Chappelle had also been Hispanic and a woman, he would’ve been every group Trump demonized in this campaign rolled into one. (Well, almost.)

Chappelle concluded his opening monologue about Trump’s victory by saying, “I’m going to give him a chance, and we, the historically disenfranchised, demand that he give us one, too.” Chappelle may be right that minority communities could be willing to give Trump a chance, but only — and this is a really big but — if Trump gives minority communities that same chance.
