Poor Michelle Williams. She can never seem to catch a break. The “If We Had Your Eyes” singer is attempting to fight back against Twitter detractors who have been poking fun at sales of her latest single.
Despite the fact that the comeback gospel artist’s music is available at retailing giant Walmart—a good thing—the deeply discounted rate was cause enough for mockers to go in on Williams. But she’s not taking it lying down.
“So ppl call themselves throwing shade that my single w/a bonus track is at WalMart? What’s the problem again? I’ll wait!” she said, noting how ridiculous it is in her estimation to mock major distribution of her music products.
